One Bowl Apple Cake – My Mom’s Last Dessert Request
My mom loved to find recipes that she wanted to try – the trick was, she wanted me to make them for her.
The last dessert request my mom sent me was for this One Bowl Apple Cake – there was 1 word in the forward “YUM!”
I never had a chance to make this for her but we did have at Rosh Hashanah and “YUM!” it was!
Here is what you need:
2 eggs
1.5 cups sugar
2 heaping teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup oil
6 Honey Crisp apples – peeled & sliced
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°
Mix eggs, sugar, cinnamon and oil. Then add Apples & fold into mixture.
Mix baking soda and flour and then add into above mixture – you are good to go once all flour is absorbed.
Bake in bundt plan (greased) for approximately 1-1.5 hours or until middle is cooked through (test with tooth pick)
ENJOY!
