Beauty Product Review: SK-II Skincare

As part of being a BzzAgent, I often receive products to try and share my experiences.  I was excited when invited to be a part of the SK-II Skincare Campaign.

Here is the background on SK-II:

Formulated with potent anti-aging Pitera™ the line helps strengthen the skin and enhances its natural ability to renew itself, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and radically improving skin firmness.

Celeb Endorsers: Cate Blanchett, J. Lo and Chrissy Teigen

Samples included:

OneFullSizeRender trial-size bottle of SK-II Facial Treatment Essence

One SK-II Facial Treatment Mask

One trial-size jar of SK-II Essential Power Cream

Power Cream:  I have been using for over a week and have not noticed a difference from the other anti-aging regime I have been using.  The plus is that I haven’t had any NEGATIVE experiences or that my skin hasn’t suffered from changing my regular routine.

IMG_3551SK-II Facial Treatment Mask:  I had to look up online how to use the mask as there were no instructions on the package. After seeing 5-15 minutes for the time range, I decided I would go for 15 minutes and was hoping that would improve my results. I will say this – the mask is goopy. The ease of taking it out of the package was awesome and not having to “apply” was nice. I wasn’t expecting to need a tissue to wipe off my hands though.

After 15 minutes, I removed the mask. My skin felt nice. Now it’s 15 minutes later and I’m not sure that my skin looks or feels much different than before.

Here’s the skinny:

The product is nice but expensive.  I’m not sure that the results have me convinced to spend the kind of money needed to become a regular user.  If you can get your hands on some samples, 100% worth a try to see if you have more “life altering” results that me.
